Steppe Bison Size
The massive steppe bison, a now-extinct species that once roamed the vast plains, possessed an impressive stature. These colossal herbivores boasted an average shoulder height of 1.6-1.8 meters (5.2-5.9 feet) and a majestic horn span ranging from 1.2-1.8 meters (3.9-5.9 feet). Their sturdy legs, each approximately 1 meter (3.3 feet) in length, provided unwavering support for their colossal frames.
